About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report to the CEO
  • Drive growth, development and commercial performance of the territory
  • Ensure alignment with TIMAC AGRO's business model principles
  • Hold full P&L responsibility for the territory
  • Lead development of new business opportunities and strengthen market position
  • Lead the commercial organization and directly manage Regional Managers
  • Define the medium-term commercial development strategy for the territory
  • Analyze market potential, anticipate market trends and identify growth opportunities
  • Implement strategy through an operational roadmap and organizational governance
  • Develop the distribution network and key distributor accounts
  • Lead and support product launches, pre-campaign and campaign execution
  • Ensure commercial excellence through CRM, performance management and field execution
  • Ensure outstanding customer service, including product quality and delivery lead times
  • Structure, size and lead the commercial organization
  • Ensure recruitment, development, performance management and retention of commercial teams
  • Oversee compensation and benefits policy with the HR Business Partner
  • Coordinate commercial activities with Supply Chain, Finance and other functions
  • Monitor commercial performance indicators and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure profitability and growth across sales, pricing, logistics, salaries and investments
  • Oversee budgeting, budget planning and forecasts
  • Represent TIMAC AGRO and act as an ambassador with key local stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ideally graduated from a leading Business School, Engineering School or University
  • At least 5 years of successful experience in management and commercial business management, ideally in a B2B environment and innovative products
  • Strong P&L management skills
  • Proven experience managing fast-growing commercial teams
  • Excellent understanding of the country's agricultural sector and stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of the country's main crop and/or livestock productions
  • Proficiency in IT tools, business management software and CRM systems
  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Strategic vision and ability to structure and prioritize activities, with an analytical approach to commercial development
  • Resilience, agility, adaptability to change, results orientation, and ability to work in an international environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, autonomy and drive, with ability to navigate complex environments and diverse projects
