About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the lifecycle marketing program for paying customers, including 30/60/90 onboarding, ongoing communications, segmentation, expansion and retention plays
  • Turn customer behaviour and usage signals into adoption, retention, expansion and reactivation revenue
  • Design, brief, build and QA customer journeys and triggers
  • Own the day-0 conversion handoff trigger and customer data enrollment
  • Segment customers by profile, product usage, engagement, lifecycle stage, adoption state, expansion propensity and churn risk
  • Design expansion and cross-sell plays for seats, add-ons and cross-sell opportunities
  • Co-define expansion signals with Growth and CS and route qualified opportunities to Sales and CS
  • Run proactive retention, re-engagement and win-back programs for at-risk, dormant and churned accounts
  • Create renewal-moment value-recap and air-cover campaigns
  • Own audience, segmentation, timing and orchestration for newsletters, webinars, feature and release communications, and in-app announcements
  • Identify advocates and manage review, referral, testimonial and reference asks
  • Own review-site management and bring case studies to market
  • Measure lifecycle analytics and experimentation from onboarding completion and time-to-value through expansion, retention, renewal support and win-back
  • Build and operationalise AI agents and agentic workflows for segmentation, signal interpretation, journey creation and testing, communications, scoring drafts, cohort analysis and drop-off detection
  • Collaborate with Growth, CS, PMM, Content, GTM Ops and Sales
  • Report to the Director, Revenue Marketing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 to 7 years in lifecycle, CRM, customer or retention marketing at a B2B SaaS company
  • Track record of designing and running behaviour-triggered customer journeys with adoption, retention or expansion outcomes owned
  • Ability to work from product-usage and account data to define segments, propensity and churn logic
  • Ability to specify scoring and routing for GTM Ops implementation
  • Fluency in a marketing automation or lifecycle stack such as HubSpot
  • Fluency in cohort analysis
  • Experience running expansion, cross-sell or renewal-support programs
  • Experience coordinating opportunity handoff with CS and Sales
  • Understanding of boundaries between lifecycle, Growth and CS, with ability to work across them
  • Hands-on experience building agents or agentic workflows that do real work, with demonstrable examples
  • Remote availability with a minimum four-hour daily overlap with US Eastern (ET) business hours
  • Product-led SaaS experience is nice to have
  • More than four hours of daily overlap with US Eastern business hours is nice to have
  • Background in workforce analytics, time tracking, HR tech or productivity software is nice to have
  • Experience marketing to BPO, outsourcing, healthcare or tech services customers is nice to have
