About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform structural design and analysis of precast concrete components and their connections using established engineering principles
  • Check production and field drawings to ensure they align with design specifications
  • Coordinate the engineering phase of construction projects with Sales, Estimating, Project Management, Operations, General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers
  • Engage with Production and Quality Control teams to develop a practical understanding of manufacturing operations
  • Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and verify compliance with design specifications
  • Assist in the development and tracking of required field repairs
  • Participate in research and development supporting innovation in the precast concrete industry
  • Follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis is required
  • Passing the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam is preferred
  • Previous experience in a related engineering or construction role is preferred but not required
  • All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes
