About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish, maintain, and grow customer accounts to generate business
  • Ensure customer requirements and business plan performance objectives are met from project inception through project closeout
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers
  • Develop new customers and project opportunities within an assigned sales territory
  • Evaluate potential opportunities against business plans and customer needs
  • Identify market opportunities for new products and services aligned with customer needs and Tindall’s profitability potential
  • Achieve desired revenue offerings
  • Coordinate planned margin offerings with the Sales Manager
  • Ensure proposals accurately represent offerings, terms, pricing, and associated terms
  • Monitor and communicate monthly market trends and competitive activities
  • Conduct monthly regional marketing activities, including lunch and learns, trade shows, and sales presentations
  • Develop design-build and negotiated projects with Owners, Architects, and/or General Contractors
  • Maintain and report monthly project activity using Tindall CRM
  • Represent Tindall on bid day for hard-bid offerings bi-monthly
  • Ensure documentation is complete before transferring project management activities to the assigned Project Manager
  • Communicate with relevant parties to ensure proposal offerings are clearly understood
  • Maintain daily contact with employees, management, customers, federal/state agencies, and vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree in Construction Management, Business, or other related field required
  • 5+ years of industry experience required
  • 5 to 7+ years prior or related experience required
  • Frequent travel, including overnight, required
  • Must follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and grow customer accounts
  • Ability to develop customers and project opportunities within an assigned sales territory
  • Ability to evaluate opportunities against business plans and customer needs
  • Ability to identify market opportunities for new products and services
  • Ability to coordinate planned margin offerings with the Sales Manager
  • Ability to ensure proposals accurately represent offerings, terms, and pricing
  • Ability to monitor and communicate market and competitive activities
  • Ability to conduct marketing activities including lunch and learns, trade shows, and sales presentations
