About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support execution of TireHub's HR strategy within an assigned region
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across HR functions
  • Act as the regional HR presence and report directly to the Director of Talent and Employee Relations
  • Partner with recruiting, operations, and learning and talent development teams
  • Advise on employee relations matters, including sensitive Hubber and legal issues
  • Conduct proactive outreach and engagement with remote employees across the region
  • Facilitate manager coaching, employee engagement, and Hubber relations initiatives
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires and leadership transitions
  • Assist with offboarding and conduct exit interviews
  • Provide compensation review and analysis support, including market and internal equity evaluations
  • Review job changes, promotions, and workforce analysis for alignment with organizational structure and talent strategy
  • Manage compliance activities, including OSHA requirements, driver records, DOT certifications, and drug testing programs
  • Support leaders with workplace complaints, performance concerns, and challenging employee situations
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on recruiting efforts
  • Maintain relationships with regional leaders to drive HR initiatives and operational effectiveness
  • Travel throughout the assigned region at least 50% of the time
  • Perform additional HR and operational responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
  • 3 to 5 years in specialized HR areas such as talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee and labor relations, talent development, and HR operations
  • Experience with HR metrics and predictive analytics
  • Familiarity with HRIS
  • Experience with sensitive employee relations matters and labor legislation
  • Complete understanding and wide application of HR principles, theories, and concepts
  • Ability to provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems under general direction
  • Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions
  • High capacity for autonomous work
  • Ability to balance competing priorities simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work flexible hours during routinely critical times
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%
  • Must live in the Dallas, Texas, or Houston, Texas metro area
