About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build understanding of the financial services landscape relevant to churches, including Accounting, Payroll, Spend management, and other financial products and services
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to solve meaningful financial problems for churches using customer insights, market research, and business data
  • Lead product discovery and problem definition, including problem statements, opportunity sizing, and build-vs-buy or partnership recommendations
  • Translate approved opportunities into product strategy, prioritized roadmap, and well-scoped Jira Epics
  • Lead products and significant product capabilities from 0-to-1 through development, launch, and iteration
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for new products and initiatives
  • Partner with Engineering, Sales, CX, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams
  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, and progress to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Monitor developments in financial services, technology, and church needs
  • First-year outcomes include recommending where to build, buy, or partner; launching at least one new financial product, integration, or significant capability; establishing KPIs; and demonstrating measurable business outcomes
  • Reports to the Director of Product

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing and launching financial products or financial services
  • Hands-on experience taking a financial product, integration, or significant capability from concept through launch
  • Proven ability to take a product from 0-to-1, from concept and discovery through launch and iteration
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Experience with Accounting, Spend management, and/or Payroll software or systems preferred
  • Experience evaluating build-vs-buy decisions or strategic partnerships involving third-party financial services preferred
  • Experience integrating third-party financial products or services into an existing SaaS platform preferred
  • Experience consolidating or unifying fragmented systems or platforms into a single customer experience preferred
  • Previous experience in B2B SaaS development, including CRM, accounting, payroll, spend management, or other financial tools preferred
  • Stable work environment with designated workspace and access to high-speed internet
  • US-based and legally able to work full time in the US
  • Sponsorships are not available
