About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prospect and build relationships within the hotel market
  • Secure new restaurant partnerships within major hotel brands, including Marriott, Hilton, and Choice Hotels
  • Support independent and boutique hotel properties and groups through the sales process
  • Manage prospective hotel properties within an assigned geographical territory
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from discovery calls through closing
  • Conduct high-volume calls, emails, and coordination with hotel customers and internal teams
  • Deliver product demos and craft tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Use Salesforce CRM to manage sales activities and maintain current records
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and position Toast in the hotel market
  • Communicate the strengths, benefits, and potential challenges of Toast POS products and services
  • Develop an understanding of enterprise hotel customers’ Master Service Agreements
  • Travel 10%-15%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years in an outbound sourcing or sales role, preferably in hospitality or a related field
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
  • Proven relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing high volumes of calls, emails, and coordination
  • Familiarity with POS or tech solutions
  • Ability to conduct tailored product demos
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Ability to present product value clearly
  • Technical proficiency with CRMs; Salesforce preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Market analysis and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working with Master Service Agreements for large enterprise accounts
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving customer and business needs
  • Attention to detail and ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, shifting environment
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
  • Toast will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this role
