About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own product strategy through execution and impact for one or more critical Toast Enterprise product areas
  • Drive the roadmap of features supporting Toast’s Enterprise full-service customers
  • Manage team backlogs through creation, prioritization, and grooming of user stories in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Monitor process and system health metrics to ensure optimal quality and velocity
  • Communicate product updates to internal stakeholders and advocate for adoption across Toast’s full-service restaurant customer base
  • Develop and maintain a long-term strategic roadmap to improve product-market fit for full-service enterprise customers
  • Collaborate, advocate, and evangelize product capabilities and customer needs across Toast’s R&D organization
  • Partner with Solutions, Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and other go-to-market teams
  • Use AI tools to accelerate product discovery, streamline execution, and explore new product experiences
  • Work with engineering, design, cross-functional teams, external business partners, technology teams, integration teams, and Toast’s Enterprise R&D team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior experience working within software development life cycle stages from ideation through customer delivery
  • Experience driving cross-team initiatives and building interpersonal relationships with a range of personalities
  • Strong program management and communication skills; detail oriented and a bias towards action
  • Experience with Enterprise software development, requirements writing and process
  • Proven success working directly with customers, external development teams and partners to deliver value and ensure alignment across different parts of the business
  • 5+ years product management experience at a senior level
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and problem solve using creativity and strong analytical skills
  • Experience working with Enterprise customers, account management and/or client development (nice to have)
  • Experience leading through influence and advocacy (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of restaurant and hospitality industry (nice to have)
