About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, build, and own core product features across the AI, backend, and infrastructure stack
- Develop Voice AI, STT, TTS, Microsoft Foundry, MCP, Deep Agents, LangChain, and Langfuse capabilities
- Build Python services, optionally using Golang and/or TypeScript, with Postgres and Microsoft Azure infrastructure
- Design and implement scalable microservice architectures
- Develop production-grade AI products driven by LLMs, agents, and advanced audio ML
- Integrate third-party APIs, MCPs, and data stores
- Build systems for audio analysis and processing, VAD, noise cancellation, and turn management
- Implement robust evaluation frameworks for evals and agent orchestration
- Ensure strong data, application, and infrastructure security
- Establish a comprehensive testing culture covering unit, contract, and penetration testing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record of building and shipping production-grade AI products, especially in a startup environment
- Hands-on experience with Python and/or Golang
- Experience with Postgres or MySQL
- Experience with microservices and modern infrastructure
- Experience with API/MCP integrations and ability to get up to speed on new services
- Practical experience building AI Agents, integrating and evaluating LLMs, prompt engineering, and evals
- Experience building scalable, responsive infrastructure under high-traffic and big-data regulatory requirements
- Experience building production-grade agents addressing memory, context, and tooling challenges
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and drive
- Pragmatic problem-solving ability to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions
- ReactJS, TypeScript, or Electron experience is a plus
- Previous experience in FinTech, InsurTech, or other regulated industries is a plus
- Application must include a link, demo, or Loom of a production-grade AI, FinTech, high-traffic, or big-data product or solution shipped, with an explanation of architecture, technology choices, and trade-offs
