About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a patch of properties across Brighouse and Kirklees, Huddersfield, and Leeds
- Deliver high-quality tenancy management services and customer support
- Help build strong, sustainable communities and enhance community resilience
- Work with customers, local partners, stakeholders, and multi-agency teams
- Resolve issues and support tenancy sustainment
- Address anti-social behaviour
- Manage lettings and property exchanges
- Oversee repairs and handle rent management
- Ensure safeguarding
- Participate in meetings to improve community support and service quality
- Advise residents on housing issues, legal rights, and tenancy responsibilities
- Conduct property viewings and manage lettings according to policies
- Serve as the primary housing-management contact
- Enforce tenancy conditions for property and garden maintenance
- Work in the field, remotely from home, and in the office for collaboration, meetings, and training
- Travel regularly throughout the area
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full UK drivers licence and access to a car, as the role is field based
- Experience and knowledge of housing, lettings, or ideally social housing
- Proven experience dealing with the public in person and over the phone
- Ability to manage sensitive situations involving distressed, anxious, or reluctant individuals
- Strong face-to-face customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information
- Proven experience with diverse customers and effective situation management
- Self-motivated with a solution-focused approach
- Personal resilience to manage a fast-paced, demanding role
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently
- Enhanced Criminal Disclosure required due to work with vulnerable members of society

Comp & perks- Starting salary of £33,758 per annum
- Fixed-term contract until December 2027
- 27 days holiday, rising to 32 over 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays
