About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the gas repairs and annual safety check scheduling system
  • Ensure appointments are made and kept
  • Monitor and maintain work views daily
  • Maximise productivity while prioritising customer care
  • Monitor and manage work within agreed timescales and company policies
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations, including Section 11 of the Tenant and Landlord Act 1985
  • Monitor work output and provide reports
  • Communicate with teams, technicians, and customers about work progress and updates
  • Reschedule jobs due to unforeseen circumstances and coordinate with customers and technicians
  • Reschedule pending or suspended jobs promptly
  • Liaise with relevant teams regarding work quality, timeliness, and disciplinary issues
  • Coordinate repairs scheduling and communicate changes or issues to stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience supporting the delivery of responsive repair services
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Prior experience in a social housing repairs environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work to set targets and deadlines
  • Knowledge of Section 11 of the Tenant and Landlord Act
  • Flexibility to adapt to work demands and priorities
  • Successful candidate must undergo a Basic Criminal Disclosure
