About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle corporate law and institutional governance matters
- Participate in preparing for and supporting meetings of the executive board, boards of directors, and advisory bodies (committees, commissions, etc.)
- Ensure the compliance of matters submitted to governance bodies
- Liaise with internal departments and senior management
- Manage corporate communications among group companies
- Prepare periodic reports for the headquarters
- Support regulatory matters related to the corporate environment
- Work jointly with the corporate legal department in managing the companies under the attorney’s responsibility
- Provide legal advice to internal departments, issuing technical legal opinions and assisting with the interpretation of legal matters
- Conduct legal research and monitor legislative trends
- Draft, review, and formalize corporate minutes, corporate policies, and internal regulations related to compliance and regulatory matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Solid experience in the insurance industry
- Solid experience in corporate law and corporate governance
- Intermediate English proficiency
