About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft strategic legal opinions for internal departments, focusing on risk mitigation and decision-making support
- Analyze, draft, and review contracts, policy wordings, terms and conditions, and strategic documents
- Provide legal advisory support to Claims, Product, Business, Sales, and Partnerships teams
- Assess legal and regulatory impacts, with a focus on SUSEP and CNSP regulations and legislation applicable to the insurance sector
- Provide legal support for the development, structuring, and launch of new products and operations
- Participate in strategic meetings with internal stakeholders, providing legal guidance and risk perspective
- Support matters involving regulatory authorities, including responses to official requests and inquiries
- Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory changes, disseminating knowledge to the relevant teams
- Provide legal support on reinsurance and coinsurance matters, where applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Law
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Substantial experience in the insurance sector
- Substantial experience in legal advisory work
- Intermediate English proficiency
