About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare quotations for the department in accordance with established guidelines and within the authority limits applicable to the position
Advise the Commercial team and insurance brokers by providing technical support on products, clauses, and terms and conditions
Analyze risk conditions to assess feasibility and suitability
Underwrite risks, recommending terms and conditions consistent with the activity and exposure
Support the policy issuance process by verifying the required documentation
Negotiate ceded and assumed coinsurance arrangements and risks in the facultative market
Analyze inspection reports for risk acceptance
Participate in projects related to the Underwriting area
Monitor the performance of the insurance portfolio and prepare periodic reports

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Intermediate English proficiency
Experience with Engineering Risks
