About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Refine and enhance CI/CD pipelines to simplify product release and deployment processes
  • Align priorities with system performance metrics and stakeholder feedback
  • Work closely with software engineering teams to translate needs into tasks, configurations, specifications, and automation scripts
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and deployment features
  • Ensure infrastructure and deployment features are production-ready and internal teams are prepared
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline product releases and deployments
  • Establish testing and sandboxing environments for reliable and stable product development and deployment
  • Establish logging, monitoring, and alerting for products to maintain system reliability and performance
  • Enable multi-instance environments with load balancing for redundancy, stability, and scalability
  • Ensure systems and processes follow industry standards and best practices in security, governance, and continuous delivery
  • Stay informed about technology trends and requirements and collaborate with the team to adapt and improve

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficiency in DevOps engineering practices across Linux, preferably Debian-based, server administration, containerization, and orchestration
  • In-depth knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipeline design using GitLab CI or equivalent, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar
  • Demonstrated proficiency configuring and maintaining GitLab or equivalent Git platform, including runners, project access tokens, and merge request automation
  • Hands-on experience building custom pipelines including security scanners and AI agents
  • Working knowledge of networking, firewalls, and VPN technologies in a segmented, multi-site environment
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineer role
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently according to set goals
  • Excellent collaboration and coordination skills across development, security, and business teams
  • Strong analytical skills and business understanding
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the software development life cycle and secure-by-design principles
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, telecom, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience implementing and operating a Web Application Firewall (WAF) is desirable
  • Experience designing or supporting multi-region/high-availability deployment architectures is desirable
  • Strong understanding of AWS, including CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and IAM hardening, and Azure/Microsoft 365 is desirable
  • Exposure to cloud security posture management tooling and SIEM platforms is desirable
  • Experience supporting NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001, or similar compliance and audit evidence programmes is desirable
  • Familiarity with Proxmox and Tailscale is desirable
  • Maritime experience is desirable
  • AI-driven development and DevOps practices experience is desirable
