About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct activities and priorities of district managers and market support team members to maximize productivity and profitability
- Ensure operational requirements, business reporting, policies, procedures, and compliance across the market
- Train and coach district managers, HR staff, and market support team members
- Drive business metrics and performance measurements
- Assess and improve work processes for functionality, effectiveness, and efficiency
- Manage associate, client, and potential client relationships
- Identify business development opportunities and develop market growth strategies
- Present and sell Towne Park services to potential and existing clients
- Partner with sales managers on prospecting action plans and follow up on leads and referrals
- Build local business relationships and generate sales leads
- Nurture client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and promotion
- Conduct quarterly client meetings and manage client-promoter objectives
- Monitor staffing and scheduling goals, labor trends, and workforce needs
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment initiatives
- Recruit and develop management talent for growth and succession planning
- Direct HR and training staff and evaluate training program effectiveness
- Support management training, employee advancement, and high-potential employee development
- Ensure adherence to pay, timekeeping, benefits, discipline, rewards, and other policies
- Address associate concerns and support diversity and inclusion
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be located in Long Island, NY or Boston, MA
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Nine (9) years of operations management experience OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Previous P&L and income statement responsibility for a multi-unit organization
- Extensive knowledge in sales, employment practices, and business development
- Ability to plan, set priorities, and manage complex projects simultaneously under pressure
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in significant company matters
- Ability to represent the company in varied settings with understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures
- Ability to read and interpret business policies, procedures, equipment manuals, training materials, and corporate communications
- Ability to compose professional internal and external business communications
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to meet stated physical requirements, including prolonged sitting or standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds
