Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee governance for the firm’s innovation team, handling demand triage and initiative portfolio management.
Triage incoming requests, classifying each according to defined criteria: innovation opportunity; access, adoption, and training; or referral to operational teams outside the group.
Manage the initiative portfolio, monitoring status, priorities, and allocated capacity.
Track the portfolio based on validation evidence for each initiative, from hypothesis testing through the specifications delivered to development.
Ensure the team’s capacity remains focused on innovation by monitoring assumed support and maintenance limits and preventing recurring operations from consuming the team’s resources.
Maintain a consolidated view of the team’s deliverables and inform decisions about where to innovate.
Ensure flow governance through metrics and reports for leadership.
Ensure operational continuity by maintaining documented processes that can run in the absence of leadership.
Work in a legal-focused role dedicated to organizing and routing innovation work, rather than performing legal activities.

What you’ll need

Law degree.
Experience organizing and prioritizing demands, managing portfolios, or coordinating projects.
Strategic mindset and ability to prioritize based on risk, value, and capacity.
Proficiency in portfolio and project management tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with leadership and business teams.
Organized profile with autonomy to make routing decisions.
Interest in or experience with legal innovation and legal ops.
Familiarity with innovation management and initiative portfolio tracking.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and experimentation cycles.
Advanced English.
