About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as a mid-level/senior associate lawyer in the Life Sciences practice
- Provide legal advice to Brazilian and international companies in the healthcare products, pharmaceutical, medicines, biotechnology, medical devices, cosmetics, personal care, tobacco, food, animal feed, veterinary products and services, agricultural pesticides, and fertilizers sectors
- Handle regulatory matters, company licensing, product registration, mergers and acquisitions, import and export, civil liability for regulated products, distribution agreements, clinical trials, technology transfer, Productive Development Partnerships (PDPs), Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), intellectual property, compliance, crisis management, and administrative and judicial proceedings
- Work with regulatory agencies, including ANVISA, the Ministry of Health, MAPA, and ANS
- Advise Brazilian and international companies, providing comprehensive, effective, and cost-efficient legal counsel
- Participate in the recruitment process, including an HR interview, assessments, and an interview with the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Fluent English
- Interest in the Life Sciences practice
- Knowledge of the Life Sciences sector is considered an advantage
- Mid-level/senior-level experience
