About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support pre-sales and engagement teams
  • Lead strategies that map Salesforce and Traction Rec solutions to customer needs
  • Support the sales cycle and set client expectations for future state
  • Set up customers for long-term success
  • Assist customers with managing change, evolving business processes, and maximizing technology investment
  • Work cross-functionally with product, services, support, sales, and engagement teams
  • Lead discovery sessions to uncover customer goals and digital-transformation challenges
  • Identify needs, diagnose issues, and develop tailored technical and business solutions
  • Design solutions aligned with client objectives
  • Define technical requirements and scope for prospective clients
  • Create and deliver demos, proofs of concept, and solution presentations
  • Support RFP/RFI and statement-of-work creation
  • Partner with sales and cross-functional stakeholders to drive client success and scalability
  • Guide client adoption and growth as a trusted advisor
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for presales, professional services, and system migration projects
  • Improve presales processes for accuracy, scalability, and efficiency
  • Engage C-suite and other stakeholders to articulate solution benefits
  • Travel to clients and events as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience creating solutions on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of client operational software, business applications, and SaaS solutions
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders to match business requirements to technology solutions
  • Experience teaching or demonstrating technology to business stakeholders
  • Experience as a Solution/Sales Engineer or similar experience delivering projects using the Salesforce platform
  • Significant exposure working directly with customers to ideate and estimate solutions
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
  • Ability to build strong relationships and drive conversations with C-level executives, staff at all levels, and external stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; ability to multitask
  • Solution-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions independently
  • Must be able to travel in Canada and US without restriction
  • Employment contingent on successful completion of background and reference checks
