About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Discover workflows directly with logistics and operations teams
- Turn customer workshops into working prototypes quickly
- Build integrations, agents, data transformations, approvals and user-facing workflows
- Connect email, documents and customer systems through APIs, browser automation or other robust approaches
- Take prototypes through production hardening, rollout and measurement
- Decide what should be AI, deterministic software or human-controlled
- Challenge customer requirements where automating the existing process would automate something bad
- Turn reusable learnings into capabilities for TradeLink's core product
- Work directly in customer operations to understand processes, build solutions and take them into production
Requirements
What you’ll need- Roughly 5+ years building software professionally, or equivalent depth
- Ability to independently take an ambiguous problem through production to real users
- Experience building integrations with external systems
- Comfort working with messy APIs, data and requirements
- Ability to understand operational workflows and uncover the actual problem
- Backend and product/full-stack experience
- Heavy use of coding agents
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs or agents
- Ability to prototype quickly while maintaining production reliability
- Ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical people and challenge customers constructively
- End-to-end ownership of outcomes
- Fluent German and English
- Willingness to be onsite with customers when needed
