About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Manager, Worldwide Benefits in the design, administration, and governance of Transocean employee benefits programs worldwide
  • Execute ongoing verification and error reports from outsourced benefits administrators
  • Research and resolve system data edits and provide input on recurring trends
  • Assist with testing administration changes for completeness and end user experience
  • Participate in vendor meetings, provide input on identified errors, and track issues to completion
  • Monitor and research employee benefits inquiries and respond to routine questions
  • Direct employees to appropriate resources and partner with Analysts on moderately complex questions and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Research non-routine inquiries and provide input to Analysts before responding to employees
  • Perform routine audit control procedures and report control completion with internal/external auditors
  • Complete audit-related inquiries and gather supporting material
  • Prepare reporting and documentation for required reporting and filing obligations for review
  • Update benefits documentation, including SPDs, Benefits Guides, and HR FAQs
  • Process invoices and funding, route for approval, track payments against budget, and coordinate new vendors for payment processing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years working in a corporate office function
  • Benefits related experience in Consulting, Administration, or related fields (Preferred)
