About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor live virtual events from start to finish
- Provide technical support to clients, presenters, interpreters, and attendees
- Troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, and platform-related issues
- Monitor event quality and proactively catch issues before they impact the event
- Communicate with internal production teams in real time
- Escalate technical issues as needed while keeping stakeholders informed
- Ensure interpreters and other participants are connected and working properly
- Keep detailed notes on issues and actions taken during the event
- Stay attentive and available for the full duration of assigned events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask while monitoring live events
- Reliable high-speed internet
- A quiet, professional workspace
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or varied shifts based on event needs
- Experience with one or more of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, BrandLive, Webex, Google Meet, or other virtual event platforms preferred
- Preferred experience in virtual event production, technical support or help desk, AV or live streaming, webinar moderation, remote customer support
- Experience with interpreters or accessibility services is a plus
