About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Client Experience and Delivery of Service between Transportation Insight and assigned clients
- Serve as the Internal Voice of the Customer and ensure clients’ business needs are met within commercial agreements
- Manage and maintain the financial results of the client P&L
- Lead communication and collaboration with cross-functional business partners to achieve strategic objectives and milestones
- Manage client relationship strategy across the assigned book of business
- Identify upsell opportunities outside current commercial agreement scope and lead internal positioning strategy
- Identify freight and supply chain optimization opportunities, including consolidation, mode optimization, network redesign, continuous improvement, and M&A support
- Act as subject matter expert on TI service offerings and provide supply chain insight and thought leadership
- Collaborate with, lead, and coach tactically focused support staff
- Own client progress communications, reports, internal meetings, and business alignment meetings
- Provide strategic direction to assigned client services support staff
- Delegate and oversee tactical responsibilities such as carrier vetting, issue remediation, and invoicing
- Provide transportation rate support for domestic US/Canada bids
- Assist with transit time and mode comparison analyses
- Recommend solutions for coverage-deficient freight lanes
- Perform trending and root cause analysis and develop cost and efficiency improvement recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar field
- 5 years of large client experience
- 5 years minimum experience with the Transportation Industry
- Up to 40% domestic travel for client site visits
- Proven experience building client relationships
- Ability to partner with and communicate effectively at all levels of the client, including VP/C-suite
- Ability to effectively plan and possess strong analytical skills
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
