About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Marketing Services products such as MTA and MMM
Fix code issues within the big data pipeline and backend
Analyze data-related issues
Develop and implement data pipelines
Manage end-to-end data onboarding and create data pipelines for end applications
Analyze source data for data mapping and business-rule setup
Ensure successful data onboarding at the individual-client level
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Data Modelers, and Consultancy Services
Develop knowledge of in-house tools and applications
Suggest improvements and assist Advisory Services and Solution Architects
Manage day-to-day activities and assigned tasks for team projects and initiatives
Exercise independent judgment to solve problems under limited supervision
Report to the Director of Data Development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent SQL skills and in-depth understanding of relational databases
Experience with distributed systems frameworks such as Hadoop
Hands-on experience with HDFS, MapReduce, and Google Cloud Platform
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of related IT experience in Big Data
Good knowledge of UNIX environments
Exposure to shell scripting
Working knowledge of large-scale multi-node clusters
Experience with HDFS, BigQuery, and Hive
Knowledge of OLAP, OLTP, and ETL database design principles
Experience in Python and Java is an advantage
Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time without employer support or sponsorship now or in the future
