About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy with the Vice President of Sales, Product, Market Planning, and Strategy teams
- Translate strategic goals into actionable plans driving short- and long-term revenue growth
- Personally lead sales efforts for high-value strategic accounts, including opportunity development, proposal strategy, and client engagement
- Demonstrate sales excellence in client relationship management and deal execution
- Attract, develop, and retain top sales talent
- Provide structured coaching, feedback, and career development through regular 1:1s, team meetings, and personalized growth plans
- Guide the team in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities aligned with client needs and market trends
- Ensure a healthy, well-qualified pipeline supporting revenue targets
- Partner with Legal, Product Development, and Marketing to align go-to-market strategies and client solutions
- Share market insights and client feedback to inform product innovation and strategic planning
- Report directly to the Vice President of Sales
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of successful sales experience
- At least 5 years in a sales leadership or management role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven success selling data, analytics, SaaS, fraud, risk, claims, underwriting, or customer acquisition solutions to Property & Casualty insurance carriers
- Deep knowledge of the P&C insurance industry, including underwriting, claims, risk management, carrier operations, distribution channels, and regulatory environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing sales teams, exceed revenue goals, and drive growth through strategic account planning and complex enterprise sales
- Strong consultative selling skills
- Track record of building executive-level relationships and influencing C-suite, business, and operational stakeholders
- Experience in pipeline forecasting, territory management, and CRM-driven sales execution
- History of coaching talent and collaborating cross-functionally
- Existing network of senior relationships within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry preferred
