Complete core assignments and training modules focused on insurance and underwriting principles
Participate in self-paced professional development courses in time management, presentation skills, and other key areas
Complete challenging project work at the discretion of the manager
Work independently or with other interns and present findings to local leadership
Learn to leverage modern analytical and artificial intelligence (AI) tools/platforms and evaluate limitations related to quality and accuracy of AI-assisted outputs
Learn about Risk Control, Claims, and related corporate functions
Engage in agency visits with Account Executives
Participate in the Enterprise Internship experience, including Executive Speaker Series, Networking events, and Rising Senior Intern Symposium
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. now and in the future

Pursuing or obtained a Bachelor’s degree
Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Obtained or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Liberal Arts (with business focus preferred), Management, Marketing, Risk Management and Insurance
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Serious about entering the insurance industry and excited about making underwriting a future career choice
