Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete core assignments and training modules focused on insurance and underwriting principles
  • Participate in self-paced professional development courses in time management, presentation skills, and other key areas
  • Complete challenging project work assigned by the manager, independently or with other interns
  • Present project findings to local leadership

  • Learn about Risk Control, Claims, and related corporate functions
  • Engage in agency visits with Account Executives
  • Participate in the Enterprise Internship experience, including Executive Speaker Series, Networking events, and Rising Senior Intern Symposium
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. now and in the future
  • The company does not sponsor/support H-1B petitions, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT for this role
  • Pursuing or obtained a Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Liberal Arts, Management, Marketing, Risk Management and Insurance, or related business-focused field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Serious interest in entering the insurance industry and pursuing underwriting as a future career
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to evaluate limitations related to quality and accuracy of AI-assisted outputs
