About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage claim programs for a portfolio of business insurance customers
  • Leverage multi-line claim product/service knowledge to market services to agents, brokers, and customers
  • Consult with internal service partners to customize sales strategies for prospective customers
  • Deliver sales presentations highlighting Travelers Claim Services and differentiators
  • Design and implement onboarding for new customers
  • Analyze customer, industry, and peer loss data to identify trends and consult on loss experience
  • Collaborate with Underwriting and Marketing business partners on new business and retention goals
  • Educate and train internal business partners, agents, and brokers on Travelers Claim services
  • Support claim partners with customer service training and education
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of Claim experience
  • Three years of Insurance industry experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing, underwriting, and account management processes; knowledge of multi-line is a plus
  • Strong understanding of underwriting products, financials, objectives, and service requirements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare for and present at meetings
  • Understanding of business objectives with the ability to recognize and act on opportunities to achieve financial results
  • Strong relationship building and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify customer needs and take appropriate action
