About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete structured onboarding to Travelers systems and protocols
- Gain exposure to Personal and Business Insurance claims of basic to moderate complexity
- Learn strategies for investigating, negotiating, and resolving claims
- Determine what happened, estimate damage, determine applicable coverages, and help customers through the claims process
- Observe Claim Professional work through desk assignments and ride-alongs with experienced employees
- Work with a designated manager/mentor through core assignments
- Develop customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Complete challenging and meaningful project work
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. now and in the future
- The company does not sponsor/support H-1B petitions, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT for this role
- Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Obtained or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
- Suggested college majors include Business Administration, Liberal Arts (with business focus preferred), Business Management, Risk Management and Insurance, or a business-related discipline
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
