About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead development of analytic data products, including pilots and proof of concepts
Execute data strategies supporting various consumption patterns
Identify enterprise architecture, platform, and application infrastructure needs
Drive operationalization and automation of capabilities to ensure secure, supported, and scalable solutions
Present analysis and recommendations to influence management and executive leadership decisions
Guide and coach senior team members to accelerate career development
Establish budgets, policies, and practices with significant impact on area operations
Ingest data from multiple sources and relay information to relevant partners
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience
Eight or more years of related work experience
Four or more years of team leadership experience
Seven additional years of data engineering experience
Two years of technical leadership experience
Demonstrated experience partnering with data science teams to support analytical and modeling initiatives
Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure
Track record of progressing from individual contributor engineering roles into team leadership
Experience evaluating data sources and consolidating data assets into centralized, accessible platforms
Ability to assess the quality and scope of technical work, articulate its business value, and represent it effectively to stakeholders and leadership
