About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct corporate real estate activities within an assigned portfolio
- Support business operations through delivery of real estate solutions at optimal cost
- Negotiate leases for establishment, renewal, termination, subleasing, expansion, downsizing, and relocation of corporate offices
- Manage facility operations, interior design, tenant construction, furniture installation, and move-in activities
- Determine office space requirements based on staffing projections and business plans
- Oversee brokers and conduct market research to identify suitable office locations
- Analyze financial, demographic, and suitability aspects of alternative sites
- Prepare presentation materials and present alternatives to management
- Prepare recommendation narratives and financial analyses for alternative sites
- Negotiate lease terms, document language, and related issues
- Coordinate broker, legal, and other resource personnel
- Support the Operational Response Team during crisis management events
- Oversee day-to-day facilities outsourced providers
- Support third-party facility and project management staff involved in design, construction, and moves
- Help manage leasing schedules and the budget process
- Identify opportunities to reduce unneeded space and manage the disposition process
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, Human Resources, Security, and other departments
- Assist leadership with reporting and other projects
- Conduct moderately complex financial and business analysis, including financial presentations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with concentration in business administration, real estate, finance or related field
- Demonstrated ability to forecast and prepare budgets
- General knowledge of financial terms and principles
- Intermediate analytical skills
- Intermediate oral and written communication skills
- 5 years experience in Commercial Real Estate, Facilities Management or related field
- 2+ years experience in, or exposure to, Real Estate and Real Estate Law, Space Planning, or Facilities/Property Management
