About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage portions of business or technical projects focused on analytical and Generative AI solutions
  • Share expertise through discussions, presentations, and peer reviews
  • Set and manage expectations with business partners for small projects
  • Identify potential conflicts and build consensus with limited guidance
  • Design, build, and evaluate reusable GenAI tools, skills, agents, and workflows
  • Rapidly prototype emerging AI capabilities and advance successful experiments toward scalable, production-ready solutions
  • Support rollout and enablement of approved AI tools through technical guidance, experimentation, training, office hours, and hands-on user partnership
  • Communicate analysis, insights, and results to teams, peers, and business partners
  • Tailor communication to different audiences with guidance
  • Mentor and support less experienced analytic talent
  • Onboard new employees and interns
  • Support recruiting and talent assessment efforts
  • Support training and skill development initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Decision Sciences, Actuarial Science, or related analytical STEM field plus three years of experience, or Ph.D. in one of these fields plus zero years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 5 years of related experience stated for the ideal candidate
  • Heavy concentration in mathematics, including statistics and programming, business intelligence/analytics, and data science tools and research using large data sets
  • Advanced working knowledge of modeling, GenAI, research, analytics, or actuarial disciplines
  • GenAI fundamentals including prompt design, tool use and agents, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning versus retrieval tradeoffs, hallucination mitigation, and grounding/attribution
  • Strong grasp of value creation and business model concepts
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple statistical software programs
  • Ability to develop advanced models and interpret model results
  • Application of advanced statistics underlying data models
  • Ability to develop emerging statistical procedures
  • Advanced knowledge in 2–3 of GenAI, Regression, Classification, Machine Vision, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, and Statistical modeling
  • Additional verification of specific coursework required
