About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals
Ensure timely detection, identification, alerting, and response to possible attacks, intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities
Distinguish cybersecurity incidents and events from benign activities
Influence leadership support and resources to create a cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives
Reduce overall risk across the enterprise
Oversee protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered
Define and implement policies and procedures to protect critical infrastructure
Conduct strategic and tactical planning with internal and external partners across cyber activities
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree or Certificate in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field
8 years of experience in cybersecurity
Experience recognizing and categorizing vulnerabilities and associated attacks
Experience applying cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements
2 years of experience as a technical lead with formal management of teams
Broad knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols
Knowledge of network security methodologies, cyber threats and vulnerabilities
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access control methods
Ability to understand technology and business directions
Advanced organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
7 years of experience working in a Technology-related field or role
1 year of direct people leadership experience
