About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Procure data for current and future analysis and prototypes for new data assets while following coding best practices
- Identify data quality improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements
- Apply complex diagnostic analysis, active monitoring, multivariate methods, experimental design, hypothesis testing, and other techniques to answer business questions and assess impacts
- Explore and propose new data and analytic tools, techniques, and industry best practices
- Create visualizations such as charts, graphs, and maps to communicate analytic insights
- Interpret and communicate findings to key stakeholders
- Recommend business actions by balancing business constraints and analytical findings
- Leverage organizational partnerships across lines and functional teams to influence analytic outcomes and inform strategic decisions
- Mentor less experienced analytic talent, onboard new employees and interns, and support recruiting and talent assessment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM related field, or a Business School Master’s Degree with a concentration in a technical or analytical field
- Five years of related data and analytic experience
- Experience using explanatory, diagnostic, and inferential techniques, including experimental design, hypothesis testing, clustering analysis, time series, and statistical modeling algorithms
- Ability to select appropriate analytical methodologies for the purpose
- Experience working on large-scale multidimensional data
- Advanced knowledge of open-source cloud-enabled analytical programming languages
- Ability to foresee challenges and create more efficient business processes
- Experience leading and managing complex projects
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate analyses and methodology at various organizational levels
- Ability to build and own professional business relationships across the enterprise data and analytics community
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of experience in data, analytics, engineering, science, technical analytical fields, or relevant experience
