About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, mainly OPEX, fixed assets, and supplier reconciliations, for the Dutch entity covering Trendyol Group’s EU activities
- Ensure financial transactions are properly prepared and reported
- Manage related-party transactions with relevant teams
- Lead monthly financial closing activities and ensure timely, accurate closing and submission
- Coordinate with third-party service providers, auditors, and tax consultants for statutory compliance, GAAPs, and tax filings
- Collaborate with the Group Tax Team on local tax issues, including transfer pricing
- Improve the efficiency and quality of accounting processes
- Work with internal and external stakeholders on accounting operations, reconciliations, compliance, and financial reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or other related departments
- More than 3 years of experience in accounting, tax, audit and similar areas
- Experience working with foreign entities is an asset
- Proficiency in Excel and Big Data
- Experience in SAP, especially FI & CO modules
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Turkish
- Process-oriented and problem-solving attitude
- Strong organizational skills and hands-on mentality
- Ability to think strategically and logically about business drivers and issues
- Openness to direct feedback, constant learning and development, taking initiative, and responsibility
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
- CPA or CPA intern is a plus
