About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries for Growth Ventures programs and initiatives
- Own accounting for QVC US and HSN's TikTok Shop
- Develop and refine accounting processes for new platforms as they scale
- Report on P&L activities for Growth Ventures initiatives, including TikTok Shop
- Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
- Support innovation to reduce manual accounting work using AI, robots, and similar tools
- Mentor junior team members and serve as a subject-matter expert for accounting for emerging business activities
- Collaborate monthly with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Social teams
- Serve as the accounting and analysis point of contact for new businesses developed or in development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Exposure to digital commerce, retail, or innovation-driven environments
- CPA preferred
- SAP S4 Hana experience preferred
- Proficient in US GAAP and SOX audit
- Must reside in NJ, PA, or DE
- Relocation assistance is not available
- Ability to work onsite at West Chester, PA several days per month
- Experience building scalable processes while maintaining internal controls, compliance, and financial reporting standards
