About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support QVC and HSN and manage the tactical functionality of the department
- Prioritize and maintain departmental efficiency to meet productivity, volume, and quality goals
- Develop and administer operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, product handling and disposition, and inventory accuracy
- Consult with corporate, site resources, and facilities staff to maintain low-cost efficiencies and high service levels
- Model QVC Group values and operating principles to build a positive, motivating, and engaged culture
- Review operations and implement improvements for cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service
- Oversee daily operations for the assigned area in partnership with other departments
- Identify, report, and communicate trends and irregularities to the Department Manager
- Analyze deficiencies and develop corrective plans
- Report to the Operations Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated Leadership/Supervisory experience in a high volume distribution center or warehouse environment
- Experience encouraging a positive work environment and partnering with employees
- Ability to work Sunday-Wednesday nights or Wednesday-Saturday nights
- Ability to work onsite daily at the Bethlehem, PA fulfillment center
