About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape product solutions across all product areas from concept to launch
- Own key design deliverables that drive customer success, including first-time experience flows and complex workflows
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product to integrate UX into the core platform
- Communicate designs clearly and frequently to bring them to life
- Lead user discovery and design validation with stakeholders
- Distill complex workflows into intuitive user experiences
- Drive continuous improvement of the Document Crunch design system and best practices
- Apply modern AI to real-world construction industry workflows and problems
- Develop patterns and techniques for interacting with AI-driven products
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience designing applications, with a strong focus on B2B products
- Proven track record of leading design initiatives across multiple products or platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating deep expertise in solving complex UX challenges
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools, including Figma and Adobe XD
- Solid knowledge of UX design processes and methodologies
- Strong communication skills
- Experience collaborating with engineers, product management, and leadership on strategy and approach
- Ideally, strong understanding of and experience with various AI tools and user experiences
- Bonus: experience designing for construction technology, document processing, or enterprise software
- Bonus: familiarity with AI-driven product experiences and emerging interaction patterns
- Bonus: previous involvement in building or scaling a design system from the ground up
