About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end design solutions from research and concept through delivery and refinement
  • Create fully responsive, high-fidelity web and mobile designs aligned with brand and accessibility standards

  • Conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and improve user flows
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to bring features to market
  • Communicate design decisions and advocate for user needs
  • Contribute to design system evolution for consistency and scalability
  • Champion user empathy and reflect customer needs throughout the design process
  • Synthesize usability testing, analytics, and customer feedback to drive product improvements
  • Monitor emerging design and AI trends and introduce new tools and methods
  • Deliver elegant, accessible, data-informed designs that improve user satisfaction and product adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field
  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally within SaaS or B2B environments
  • Ability to be in the Austin office at least one day per week
  • Portfolio showcasing responsive, high-fidelity product design work with measurable impact
  • Proficiency with modern design tools, such as Figma
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows
  • Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and usability testing methodologies
  • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Passion for AI, emerging technologies, and continuous innovation in design
  • Experience with systems design
