About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape product solutions across all product areas from concept to launch
- Own key design deliverables that drive customer success, including first-time experience flows and approaches to complex workflows
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product to integrate UX into the core platform
- Communicate designs clearly and frequently to bring them to life
- Lead user discovery and design validation with stakeholders
- Distill complex workflows into intuitive user experiences that solve real-world challenges
- Drive continuous improvement in the Document Crunch design system and best practices
- Apply modern AI to real-world construction-industry workflows and problems
- Distill patterns and techniques for interacting with AI as the product evolves
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience designing applications, with a strong focus on B2B products
- Proven track record of leading design initiatives across multiple products or platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating deep expertise in solving complex UX challenges
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance great UX, style, and pragmatism
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools, including Figma and Adobe XD
- Solid knowledge of UX design processes and methodologies
- Adaptive mindset open to new approaches
- Strong communication skills
- Experience collaborating with engineers, product management, and leadership on strategy and approach
- Ideally, a strong understanding of and experience with various AI tools and user experiences
- Experience designing for construction technology, document processing, or enterprise software is a bonus
- Deep familiarity with AI-driven product experiences and emerging interaction patterns is a bonus
- Previous involvement in building or scaling a design system from the ground up is a bonus
