About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Ensure accurate reporting according to company deadlines, policies, and US GAAP
- Provide in-depth financial analysis for financial statement review
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and schedules
- Respond to auditor inquiries and collaborate with auditors
- Assist with implementing and maintaining SOX internal controls
- Complete internal-control support and documentation
- Coordinate with Internal Audit and Internal Controls teams
- Communicate and partner with Corporate Accounting and other stakeholders
- Support and complete projects
- Review new contracts and company initiatives
- Report to the Senior Accounting Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- 4+ years of professional accounting experience
- 4+ years of experience using US GAAP and SOX knowledge for general ledger accounting
- 4+ years of experience in accounting systems and ERP platforms
- SAP experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Must reside in NJ, DE, or PA
- Relocation assistance is not available
