About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete the case intake process for Spectrum and related product software customization projects
Analyze customers’ business goals, objectives, and needs
Develop solutions and create Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and Work Orders
Act as a customer consultant by defining needs, determining strategy, and developing project delivery plans/proposals
Recommend shifting future performance to a third party when appropriate
Provide approved project scope details to assigned Technical Services Specialists
Assist with customer handover activities
Drive internal feedback cycles to refine future scoping efforts
Maintain related documentation
Develop and maintain expert knowledge of software products from internal and user perspectives
Analyze and solve problems systematically, anticipate and mitigate risks, and design effective solutions
Monitor work to ensure quality solution delivery
Present and explain information to groups with varying levels of knowledge
Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, training, or technology, a minimum of three years of software consulting experience or two years of custom solution delivery experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated expertise within the Viewpoint Spectrum Software platform across all modules/disciplines, including Accounting, Operations, and Service Management
Ability to analyze SQL data
Relationship-building skills, requirements gathering experience, and negotiating skills
Ability to successfully drive multiple projects in parallel
Subject matter expertise in accounting principles and practices, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, purchase orders, and general ledger
Subject matter expertise in construction project management principles and practices, including project setup via estimate, project buy-out, project documents, project change orders, job costing, and job billing
Prior professional services or software consulting experience managing billable projects within tools such as NetSuite, FinancialForce, or Kimble (bonus)
Familiarity with Viewpoint Field Management, Human Resources Management, or Financial Controls solutions (bonus)
Background knowledge or direct operational experience within the construction industry (bonus)
Experience with a PSA or similar software tool such as NetSuite, FinancialForce, or Kimble (bonus)
