About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle incoming phone calls for servicing complex medical equipment and life-saving imaging devices
  • Partner with clinical professionals by telephone to input data for medical equipment servicing
  • Secure critical information through positive interactions
  • Coordinate repairs between healthcare professionals and TRIMEDX technicians
  • Document equipment issues and determine severity
  • Dispatch service requests to responsible technicians
  • Manage incoming interactions from healthcare professionals in a timely and courteous manner
  • Ask probing questions and relay information to repair technicians
  • Notify field technicians and escalate emergency situations using call flow processes
  • Document and escalate safety incidents and issues affecting the service model
  • Perform follow-up activities
  • Assist with visitor side-by-sides and peer coaching
  • Perform data entry and analysis
  • Complete other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must currently reside in the Eastern or Central Time zones
  • Able to work Tuesday–Saturday, 12:30–9:00 PM EST
  • Must be able to type 45 wpm
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Outlook or similar email solutions
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • High School or equivalent degree required
  • College education preferred
  • Understanding of the healthcare environment, including medical equipment terminology
  • Ability to document accurate information in work order systems
  • Ability to use resources to solve customer issues or direct them to the appropriate source
