About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Attend new site inventory validation trips as part of the project team
  • Match and tag medical equipment at new or existing customer sites according to TRIMEDX processes
  • Validate and inspect clinical equipment for completeness, mechanical and electrical safety, and proper operation
  • Ensure attention to detail when tagging devices and matching identifiers in TRIMEDX systems
  • Ensure understanding of in-scope devices to be tagged
  • Communicate process improvement ideas and flag identified risks to the designated leader
  • Complete required compliance and developmental training
  • Complete expense reports related to work travel
  • Provide temporary coverage at sites as needed
  • Support performance verification of general biomedical equipment and special projects
  • Perform inspections, calibrations, and repairs of general biomed non-life support equipment when shop support is needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • No previous experience in technical/electronics field is required; 1 year of relevant experience is preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to learn functional and technical skills in Biomedical Equipment maintenance and repair
  • Customer focus and ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships
  • Valid Driver’s license required due to variable travel requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 85–100% to client hospital sites, offices, meetings, and trainings
  • Significant overnight travel, up to 85% of time
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Some education in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military training is preferred
