About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative service, support, navigation and/or solutions according to experience, education, policies and procedures
- Perform clerical functions including customer service, data entry, and maintenance and organization of records
- Deliver an exceptional colleague experience through case management and phone interactions
- Provide first point of contact resolution while maintaining SLA standards
- Use case management technology to track and log issues and notes
- Respond to HR inquiries related to records, employment administration, HRIS systems and policy interpretation
- Support teammates while meeting weekly performance, quality and accuracy metrics
- Identify process enhancements and contribute to implementation of improvements
- Maintain relationships with health ministry partners and Centers of Expertise
- Learn new systems, follow updated workflows and support peers through transitions
- Manage complex cases, mentor peers and contribute to continuous improvement as proficiency increases
- Receive and review employee documents for accuracy, completeness and authorizations
- Determine appropriate HR system entry using forms mapping tools and department procedures
- Handle PDFs using Adobe Acrobat, including extracting, combining, redacting and manipulating files
- Complete intake of unemployment questionnaires system wide
- Handle inquiries, use job aids and knowledge resources, and escalate complex cases
- Communicate with internal and external customers regarding employment verification requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1+ years of progressive experience in a high-volume customer support role work environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe, Workday, UKG, Cisco or similar HRIS and Contact Center systems
- Must be able to travel to the various Trinity Health sites 25% as needed
- Experience in HR Shared Services environment, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Benefit and/or Onboarding preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- HR Certification from an accredited body
- High-volume HR Shared Services environment, including employment administration and/or benefits administration
