About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support employee health and workers' compensation programs
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employee health, occupational health, and workers' compensation regulations
- Conduct post-offer employee health onboarding, including health screenings, tuberculosis testing, drug screening, medical surveillance, and review of job-related health requirements
- Review immunization records and administer recommended vaccinations
- Manage communicable disease exposures, infection control concerns, tuberculosis surveillance, and follow-up care
- Assist with workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee health records and documentation
- Evaluate and support colleagues experiencing workplace illness or injury
- Conduct fit-for-duty evaluations, drug screenings, and medical surveillance activities
- Collaborate on respiratory protection, workplace safety, and risk prevention programs
- Partner with leaders and multidisciplinary teams to advance colleague safety initiatives and reduce workplace injuries

Requirements
What you’ll need- RN license issued prior to hire date, as defined by the primary work state (Idaho or Oregon)
- Secondary-state RN licensure or proof of application within the specified deadline
- Graduate of school of nursing
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required
- Current Occupational Health Nurse certification is desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
- Two years of nursing experience preferred
