About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides administrative service, support, navigation and/or solutions in accordance with experience, education, policies and procedures.
- Performs clerical functions including customer service, data entry, and maintenance and organization of records.
- Provides administrative support services and enhances coordination, preparation and flow of department processes and core work.
- Plans and organizes workflow while prioritizing customer needs.
- Develops, implements and maintains job-related records.
- Utilizes multiple system applications for data collection and management.
- Applies Trinity Health policies, practices and processes to prioritize quality, confidentiality and safety.
- Collaborates on performance improvement activities.
- Provides data entry, reporting and transactional support to Leave of Absence processes across the system.
- Performs accurate and timely data entry, time tracking, reporting and payment processing.
- Supports ad-hoc requests as necessary.
- Collaborates and follows up with stakeholders, human resources operations and vendors to support the colleague and manager experience.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Communicates goals, standards, program expectations, service performance and how work serves Trinity Health objectives.
- Recognizes, addresses and/or escalates organizational, operational or team conflicts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources, as normally obtained through a bachelor's degree in a field requiring analysis, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess some knowledge of and experience with leave of absence administration, payroll, or related field requiring attention to detail and application of critical assessment skills.
- Experience working in multiple software/computer systems, such as UKG, Kronos, Workday, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and comfortable learning new systems as needed.
- Ability to present data-driven reports (nice to have).
- Ability to follow tasks through to completion, understand and relate to complex ideas/concepts, remember multiple tasks and regimens over long periods of time, and work on concurrent tasks/projects.
- Ability to read small print, hear sounds and voice/speech patterns, give/receive instructions and other verbal communications.
- Perform manual dexterity activities and/or grasping/handling.
- Ability to climb, kneel, crouch and/or operate foot controls.
- Use a computer/other technology.
- Maintain a safe working environment and use available personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Comply with Trinity Health’s Code of Conduct, policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to provide assistance in the event of an emergency.
