About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide therapy services to adults and children/adolescents in an integrated setting within Primary Care Centers
- Handle referrals and collaborate with primary care practitioners
- Provide training and supervision to interns and other mental health staff as delegated
- Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with hours able to flex until 8:00pm
- Work in a clinical setting under the supervision of the Manager and Coordinator
- Interact with services, employees, medical staff, patients, visitors, vendors, and regulatory and professional agencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with children and youth is strongly preferred
- Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate school of social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling
- Licensed to practice through the State of New York as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Clinical setting exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions
- Medium work involving standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling
