About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions
- Assess, identify outcomes/solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate professional practice
- Act independently and appropriately within scope of knowledge and experience
- Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes
- Take on new and additional responsibilities
- Manage competing priorities while embracing new ideas and cultural differences
- Fill short- and long-term staffing assignments throughout the health system
- Provide surgical technologist services for the Neuro Team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Preferred Education: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
- Preferred Certification: CST
- A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST
- If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed due to training on the job or military training, five (5) years’ work experience is required
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility
- Ability to complete the orientation and training
- Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions
