About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide quality, patient-centered care considering age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs
- Apply competent clinical practice and the nursing process
- Integrate relationship-based care into practice
- Serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit
- Assume accountability for nursing care of designated patients
- Demonstrate unit/area-designated competencies
- Complete orientation and training
- Float between St. Peter's, Albany Memorial, and Samaritan Hospitals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years of current experience as a Registered Nurse in the desired specialty
- Per diem nurses must work 24 hours every four weeks to remain active
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility
- Must be willing to float between the three locations
- Must be able to complete the provided orientation and training
- Must be able to float
- Float pool experience preferred
- Contract/travel agency experience preferred
